At 21:01 on Tuesday, 25 June, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving fridge, fridge removed from kitchen. Crews damped down and ventilated property.
