At 10:48 on Friday, 16 August, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

one van destroyed by fire 2 breathing apparatus sets 1 hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire and a Thermal Imaging camera was used to check vehicle for hot spots
