At 16:33 on Saturday, 16 November, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving washing machine. All services have been isolated and washing machine removed from property. Crews have used 1 dry powder, 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus
