At 12:26 on Thursday, 23 January, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Much Wenlock.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the RSPCA and a vet.

Crews assisted with horse that was unable to right itself in field.
