At 12:53 on Thursday, 22 April, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in chimney of 3 storey domestic property, crews used chimney gear and thermal image camera
