At 18:46 on Monday, 26 July, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Pylon in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Reports of a power surge causing a pole mounted transformer to set alight. Fire was out on arrival of crews and incident left with Western Power.
