At 09:48 on Monday, 9 August, 2021, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Small electrical fire involving washing machine in ground floor kitchen. Thermal imaging camera and small gear in use to isolate.
