• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving bedroom furniture Two hose reel jets, One covering jet, Four breathing apparatus' and thermal imaging camera in use.

At 11:24 on Sunday, 27 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a diesel generator in the pump house approximately 6m x 4m, crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, the thermal imaging camera was also in use.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Crews found 1 small contained fire within a work shop. This was approximately 1m by 4m, crews used 1 hosereel jet and a 70m hose to extinguish the fire, the thermal imaging camera was also in use.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One vehicle involved in fire with engine compartment completely destroyed by fire. Crews have used two hosereel jets to extinguish whilst wearing breathing apparatus.

Fire in field involving grass and undergrowth measuring approximately 10 meters by 5 meters. Crews extinguished the fire using one extended hosereel jet and two beaters.

Car Fire

Oak Street Oswestry

At 09:56 on Friday, 25 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Ground monitor
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One campervan fully involved and destroyed by fire including one propane cylinder. One car also affected by fire with superficial burning due to heat from campervan. Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and cool the propane cylinder. Crews also used a ground monitor to prevent re-ignition and a thermal imaging camera in use to check temperatures.
