At 14:01 on Thursday, 17 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire within ground floor of property. All persons within property were accounted for.

This incident involved brakes of one lorry which were smoking. Crews used one hosereel jet to cool the brakes and have liaised with the driver to arrange recovery of vehicle.

This incident involved an out of control bonfire that had spread to hedgerow. Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets and drag rakes.

At 18:46 on Tuesday, 15 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved unattended cooking on hob. Crews gained entry and extinguished fire using one hose reel jet. Positive pressure ventilation used to clear smoke logging. The Fire Service was alerted to the incident by a member of the public outside hearing the alarms sounding from inside the property.

Incident involves a fire as well as power lines which have come to rest on ground. Once power lines had been isolated by Utility Company, crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet. Thermal imaging camera used to check for hotspots.
