At 12:58 on Tuesday, 25 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Shifnal.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a fire in the electrical intake cupboard. All persons evacuated prior to the attendance of crews. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, dry powder extinguisher, thermal image camera and ventilated the premises.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a fire in a first floor flat. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet. Positive pressure ventilation used to clear smoke logging.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in kitchen of domestic property caused by tumble dryer. Crews used 2 hosereel jets and 1 covering jet whilst wearing breathing apparatus. 1 dog rescued from the property. Crews then ventilated the property using positive pressure ventilation and thermal imaging cameras to check temperatures within the property were safe.
