At 08:27 on Tuesday, 31 October, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Bedroom fire on 2nd floor of property. Hosereel jet has been used and property ventilated. All persons rescued and accounted for. Persons in care of ambulance crews.

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a fire in an electrical box in the cellar. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hosereel jet, one covering jet, a thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation.
