At 20:30 on Tuesday, 30 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported.
3 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Positive Pressure Ventilation
Fire in kitchen involving cooking. Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Positive pressure ventilation using to clear smoke logging. All persons accounted for, and one dog rescued.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Positive Pressure Ventilation
- Thermal imaging camera
Fire in flat caused by air fryer. Crews used 1 hosereel jet and a covering jet to extinguish the fire and a positive pressure ventilation fan to assist in ventilating the property. 1 casualty assessed by ambulance crews.
