At 20:23 on Sunday, 19 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a fire at a derelict property, crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish. Over the border assistance was also received from Mid & West Wales.

This incident involved a small fire in the kitchen due to oil on the floor.

Fire in laundry room caused by tumble dryer. Crews extinguished fire using 2 BA, 1 covering jet, 1 hosereel jet and PPV to ventilate property. Full inspection of whole property carried out to check for smoke travel. Building clear and all persons accounted for.
