At 17:48 on Thursday, 8 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
Report of a two vehicle RTC. No persons trapped on arrival of crews. Crews have made both vehicles safe using small gear and cleared vehicle fluid from road using environmental grab packs.

One shed, Conifer hedgerow and fencing fully destroyed by fire. Crews extinguished using two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, thermal imaging camera and small tools.
