I’d like to make the following request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:
> Number of callouts to fires where “air fryer” is named as the cause in each of the following calendar years: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Please include any available details on the number/type of injuries, deaths and length of time to put each fire out.
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service does not routinely record the information you have requested, however a search of our Incident Recording System using key words has revealed one incident relating to air fryers. Please refer to the attached spreadsheet. Please note that it is not clear the air fryer was the cause of this incident.
