Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 please can I request information about:
How many animals/pets the Shropshire fire service has rescued in the last five years.
Please can you include a breakdown of the figures for each year of the last five years, starting from Jan 2018 to date.
Can you detail (where possible):
What the animal was
What date the animal was stuck
Where it was stuck
How long it was stuck for
How long it took for you to save the animal
How many crew members were involved?

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service records the type of animal rescue as either ‘Livestock e.g. horse, cow’, ‘Cat, dog or other domestic pet’ or ‘Bird’ and ‘Other’ – please see ‘IncidentCategoryL3’ in the attached spreadsheet. More information about what the animal was may be available in the ‘IncidentDesc’ (incident description) field of the spreadhseet where this has been recorded.
What date the animal was stuck
