Fire safety
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, covering the financial years 2023/24, and 2024/25.
Please provide the data separately for each financial year (not grouped together) and, if possible, in an Excel or Google Sheets document.
Fire Safety Audits:
For each financial year, please provide:
1. The total number of fire safety audits or inspections completed under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (or equivalent legislation).
2. If available, a breakdown of audits by building type (e.g. 10 audits in retail buildings, 8 in nursing homes, 12 in schools).
Notices:
For each financial year, please provide:
3. The total number of audits or inspections that resulted in no action needed.
Prosecutions:
For each financial year, please provide:
4. The total number of prosecutions undertaken under fire safety legislation.
5. The total value of fines imposed (in £).
6. A breakdown on the number of prosecutions and total value of fines by building type (e.g. 5 prosecutions to hospitals equating £10,000).
If any of the requested information is not held, please provide the reason why (e.g. not recorded, held elsewhere, exempt under Section 12) and any partial data available or the nearest equivalent.

Tabs FIRE1202a and FIRE1202b reference  Q1 and Q2.  Q3  see tab FIRE1202. The ‘Satisfactory Audits’ tab will provide the audits with no action.
You will need to select the correct Fire and Rescue Authority from the drop-down boxes at the top (where it says England) and the correct year on FIRE1202b.
