Telford Central
Large External Fire involving large quantity of wood and embers being spread over surrounding area. Acetylene cylinders involved. Currently 40+ Fire Fighters In attendance. Area now sectorised – 8 main jets in use and ground monitors. 200 meter cordon in place. Police in attendance and liaising with local residents.
UPDATE 05:45: 3 Fire Engines still in attendance – good progress still being made – ground monitor still in use and covering acetylene cylinder – temperature checks being carried out every 20minutes. Site Machinery being used to break down timber stacks to help damp down the area. Fire Investigation will attend first thing.
