Albrighton - Still Recruiting

Visitors to the recruitment morning including Chair of the Fire Authority Councillor Stuart West and District Councillor David Beechey.

A recruitment morning was held on Saturday 28th February at Albrighton Fire Station. Those interested in applying to become a retained duty system firefighter or those who just wanted to know more were invited to come to the fire station in Newport road, to have a look around, speak to firefighters and get advice on the recruitment process.

"There was a good level of interest shown by those attending, but we still need more people" said Watch Manager Brian Dawson, officer in charge of Albrighton Fire Station. If you were unable to attend or just missed the adverts and would like more information on becoming a retained duty system firefighter, please contact us using any of the methods listed below. We are looking for people aged 18 or over, with a good level of fitness and who either live or work within 5 minutes of Albrighton fire station and can respond to emergency calls during the daytime Monday to Friday.
