Broseley 'Celebrate Safely' christmas safety roadshow

A Christmas Safety Road Show was held at the Victoria Hall in Broseley on Friday 1st December. This is one of a series of Road Shows which is being held in the Bridgnorth District in the run up to Christmas.

These safety Road Shows are being organised by Bridgnorth District Community Safety Partnership working in partnership with Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service and The Community Council of Shropshire. They convey a Christmas Safety theme called "Celebrate Safely".

Residents and visitors in the district will have the opportunity to find out useful information on how to keep safe over the Christmas and winter period.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue are on hand to answer questions about fire safety in the home and road safety when travelling in hazardous conditions and there are also exhibitions from relevant organisations such as:

Alcohol awareness

Car crime

Domestic violence awareness

Environmental health - Food safety and hygiene

Keeping warm in winter

Road safety

Trading Standards

West Mercia Police

The final event will be held on Friday 8th December in Albrighton at the Red House between 10am and 1pm. We hope you will be able to come and join us at some point during the morning.
