Father to step out in tribute to son

Ashley Brown, a retained firefighter stationed at Bridgnorth will be fund-raising and raising awareness for Asthma UK, in memory of his son Cameron.

Cameron had a fatal Asthma attack aged two in February this year.

Ashley will be doing a series of walks and challenges throughout the year, starting off with the Bridgnorth Sponsored Walk on 26th May 2008. This is a 22 mile walk starting and finishing in Bridgnorth, with the route taking in the summit of Brown Clee hill. He will be part of team of sixteen, including friends and family, all walking in aid of Asthma UK.

In July Ashley will be joined by a team of Firefighters from Bridgnorth, who will be taking the Three Peaks Challenge. The aim of this event is to climb Ben Nevis, Scarfel and Snowdon in a period of 24 hours, which includes the travelling time between the three mountains.
