At 17:44 on Monday, 21 November, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Pontesbury .

4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 saloon vehicle stuck in flood water - 1 female out of vehicle on arrival of fire service.

The stop message was received at Mon, 11/21/2016 - 18:34

Do not attempt to drive through flooded roads or fords and do not attempt to walk through flooded areas. Children should not be allowed to play in flood water, due to contamination. Keep an eye on weather reports on local television or radio channels and look after your neighbours.
