Would it be possible to gain the following information please?
Do you allow secondary employment in your service?
If yes, do you allow secondary employment to carry out fire safety work such as fire risk assessment, fire training or any other fire consultancy work?
If yes, do you allow you staff to carry out this work within the Services area or not?
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request. I can confirm that we do allow secondary employment at Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service. I can also confirm that the Service does not allow secondary employment to carry out fire safety work such as fire risk assessment, fire training or any other fire consultancy work.
