At 10:38 on Friday, 25 September, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent in Shrewsbury.
2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Reports of smashed glass falling on to Ravens Meadows. Fire crews removed glass from window from a height of approximately 25m using aerial ladder platform.

5 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
Incident involving 2 sheds which has spread to neighbouring properties. 5 Hose Reel Jets and 1 main Jet have been in use. Good progress being made now damping down and turning over.

One 14yr old female rescued from roof of property using 9m ladder.

12 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Hodnet, Much Wenlock, Newport, Prees, Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale, Wellington and Wem. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Main jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: a doctor, the Environment Agency, the Police, Telford and Wrekin Council and a utility company.
Crews are dealing with a large fire involving large quantity of pallets which has spread to two adjacent buildings. This incident has 12 fire engines in attendance together with command support unit and aerial ladder platform. The incident has been sectorised to 4 sectors to bring the fire under control.

Property fire involving roof of brick and stone building, 25% damaged by fire. Fire crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jet, 1 covering jet and 1 aerial ladder platform to remove tiles and check for hot spots. Crews to remain damping down, removing loose tiles and monitor temperature.
