At 07:39 on Monday, 29 July, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Cleobury North, Bridgnorth .

4 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Incident Command Unit, the Water Carrier and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Telford Central. Operations, Fire Investigation, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 13.5m ladder
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) and the Police.

One domestic property involved in fire.

At 04:41 on Friday, 19 April, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shifnal.

5 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit, the Light Pumping Unit, the Water Carrier and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Telford, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation, Safety, Principal and Specialist Advisor officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving one industrial unit measuring 30 metres x 30 metres. Crews using four breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and two main jets. Partial collapse of the building structure.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Explosion reported which on investigation was involving an electrical sub-station. No fire involved - crews liaising with Western Power

At 00:19 on Monday, 18 February, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Bishops Castle.

6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Church Stretton, Clun, Craven Arms, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving 1st floor room and roof space of a 2 storey domestic residential property measuring 10m x 30m. Extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus, 1 main jet and 2 hose reel jets. Thermal Imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation used. Fire investigation carried out.

Tanker Fire

At 07:45 on Thursday, 6 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tanker Fire.

9 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit, the Foam Pod and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Much Wenlock and Tweedale. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency, the Highways Agency and a utility company.

Incident involved one fuel tanker on fire. Eight appliancs, specialist crews and four officers attended the incident. Crews brought the fire under control using 3 hose reel jets, 1 main jet with foam and 4 breathing apparatus. Crews are currently cooling tanker down with 3 hose reel jets, 1 main jet and foam. All other necessary utility companies and services were informed of this incident.

6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Fuel Bowser, the Incident Command Unit and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Bridgnorth, Craven Arms, Hodnet, Minsterley, Newport, Shrewsbury, Telford, Telford Central, Tweedale, Wellington and Wem. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Large fire in industrial unit at Edgebold Industrial estate. Six pumps in attendance in addition to a number of supporting pumps and officers. Roads now reopened in the area.
