At 19:21 on Tuesday, 5 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire.
6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Chimney rods
- Small gear
- Stirrup pump
- Thermal imaging camera
Chimney fire involving a wood burning stove. Aerial Ladder Platform in use for difficult access.

4 fire appliances including the Foam Pod, the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Market Drayton, Shrewsbury, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
1 light aircraft overturned in field, all persons accounted for and fit and well. Crews investigating to make aircraft safe. Small fuel spillage.

At 10:32 on Tuesday, 22 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chemical Incident.
4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Tweedale. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency and the Police.
RTC involving one tractor and trailer. Approximately 6000 litres of liquid fertiliser leaked from the trailer onto roadway. Crews assisting with the clean up/ removal of remaining fertiliser.

At 15:12 on Monday, 21 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth .
3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Fire Service crews assisted the RSPCA to rescue a Peregrine Falcon which had become stuck behind reinforced mesh wire. Police closed the road to allow the Aerial Ladder Platform to be set up and crews released the bird which is now in the care of the RSPCA.
