4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of one cow stuck in the river. This incident was a false alarm, cow had self-extricated from river without fire service assistance.

Reports of sheep fallen down bank and stuck in river. Fire crews used water first responders to rescue sheep which was reunited with the flock

Casualty out of water on arrival of fire service, crews assisted paramedics to carry casualty to air ambulance.
