At 22:55 on Tuesday, 7 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Much Wenlock.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One car which had hit a wall and came to rest in middle of carriageway. Vehicle has been made safe by crews and casualties in care of ambulance service.

At 15:50 on Sunday, 5 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Cressage.

3 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One large log pile, approx 50 tonnes of logs, fully alight. Crews used 2 hose reel jets and 2 main jets.

Small quantity of rubbish involved outside property. Fire out on arrival of crews. No persons trapped.
