At 19:25 on Friday, 28 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One caravan fully destroyed by fire. Crews extinguished fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hosereel jets, 1 main jet and thermal imaging camera. Thorough investigation carried out.

Small fire involving fluorescent strip light in basement. Power isolated and inspection also carried out.

Fire involving a barn roughly 25m x 30m, used for general storage.

6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Incident Command Unit and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Church Stretton, Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One large log pile, approx 50 tonnes of logs, fully alight. Crews used 2 hose reel jets and 2 main jets.

Fire involving a tourer caravan and two outbuildings. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets and a main jet. Assistance provided by Staffordshire Fire and Rescue.

7 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Newport, Prees, Shrewsbury, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Fire involving approximately 250m x 50m of trees and undergrowth. Crews used 2 main jets, 2 45mm jets, 2 breathing apparatus' and fogging unit from Incident Support Unit. Drone has also been launched to look for hot spots. Water carrier from Bridgnorth utilised to ferry water to incident.

Incident involves 1 combine harvester fully involved in fire. Crews are extinguished using 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hosereel jet, 1 main jet and misting lance from Incident Support Unit.
