Fire involving a refridgerator in the kitchen of a domestic property.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton, Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Hosereel jet
  • Main jet

Fire involving large baler, together with bales of straw and cut straw. Two hose reel jets, one main jet, 2 high pressure lances from the Incident Support Units, and 4 breathing apparatus in use to extinguish fire.

7 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton, Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

  • Rakes, shovels, mathooks
  • Small gear
  • Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved contents of a wood chip silo caused by faulty machinery.

Reports of smoke in the area - Crews attended to find a large unattended bonfire. Bonfire was dampened down by crews and the bonfire size was reduced. Police attended for traffic control due to smoke over the carriageway.

At 23:04 on Monday, 24 February, 2020, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Shifnal.

11 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit, the Prime Mover, the Rescue Tender and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Craven Arms, Newport, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Electric Saws/Cutters
  • Hosereel jet
  • Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving barn approximately 50m x 20m well alight. Two 45mm jets and 1 aquashield ued to fight fire.
