Ludlow firefighters in 3 Peaks Challenge

Once again Staff from Ludlow fire Station and friends are putting a team in to take part in national three peaks challenge.

The three peaks challenge consists of climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfel pike, and Snowden in a gruelling twenty four hours. They have their sights set high for this year's event and are hoping to finish in under eighteen and half hours. The charity on which they will be raising money for this year is the Firefighter Charity.

They have also managed to get some local sponsorship off local business and would also like to thank every one that has contributed through sponsorship or donation as it has all been gratefully received. This year's event will take place on the 25th of June and hopefully with a safe return on the 26th, said Glynn Davies, retained Ludlow firefighter.
