At 19:21 on Sunday, 10 May, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.
4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Fire involving wood chippings machine and approx 200 tonnes of woodchip.

At 17:55 on Sunday, 5 April, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Clunton, near Craven Arms .
6 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit, the Foam Pod and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Clun, Craven Arms, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.
Single storey building approximately 30m x 40m and 2 heavy goods vehicles fully involved in fire. 4 main jets and 2 breathing apparatus used to extinguish

At 06:46 on Wednesday, 7 January, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Leebotwood.
6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.
Single storey garage approximately 10m x 5m 90% involved in fire, 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, and 1 covering jet all used to extinguish. Residential property which was directly next to the railway track and this caused the need to stop trains in both directions. Railway line is now open again and train services are now resumed.

At 11:10 on Sunday, 4 January, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Morda, Oswestry.
7 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform and the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Oxygen first aid
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
Fire involving ground floor kitchen area of 2 storey mid terrace property. Ground floor severely damaged by fire and smoke. First floor severely damaged by heat and smoke. Adjoining properties damaged by smoke. Six breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 covering jet in use. Ambulance in attendance - 1 female suffering from smoke inhalation.

5 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit, the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit, the Landrover Pump and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch, Bridgnorth, Ellesmere, Minsterley, Oswestry, Prees and Tweedale.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.
Incident involving 1 detached property measuring approx. 10m x 10m, fire has broken through roof, and is 100% involved in fire. Hose reel and 2 main jets in use. Several pumping appliances ferrying water from nearby hydrants.

Incident involving commercial building 200m x 50m, fire involving industrial printer, 4 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera in use. Crews from Hodnet and Much Wenlock also mobilised to provide cover at Wellington and Telford stations.

At 08:59 on Sunday, 12 October, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Ludlow.
6 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer, Craven Arms, Ludlow and Shrewsbury.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Ground monitor
At 08:59 on Sunday 12/10/14 Shropshire Fire Control received a 999 call to a shed fire at Middleton Sidings, Ludlow ,Upon questioning of the caller fire control ascertained that this shed was used as a workshop and contained acetylene and LPG cylinders. Crews from Ludlow and Craven Arms were mobilised along with an officer from Shrewsbury When Crews arrived they quickly placed a cordon around the incident while police officers evacuated local residents from neighbouring properties as a precaution. Crews made pumps four due to the scale of the incident In the early stages of the incident eye witnesses reported that 2 explosions were heard, after investigation this was found to be the LPG and acetylene that had exploded. Crews worked tirelessly throughout bringing the fire under control at around 12:00 with the all clear being given at 12:30 for local residents to return to their properties. The ambulance service were in attendance and were joined by their specialist H.A.R.T crews Due to the prompt action of the fire service and police there were no reported casualties in what was an extremely dangerous fire situation.
