At 10:03 on Friday, 18 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Treflach.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Portable pump

1 private saloon vehicle completely destroyed by fire, fogging system in use to extinguish fire.

At 02:38 on Saturday, 12 August, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Persons Reported Fire in Telford.

5 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the British Red Cross Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) , the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire involving domestic property, all persons accounted for. 4 properties affected, 3 x 9 M ladders, 6 breathing apparatus, 2 x 45mm jets. All services have been isolated. No casualties.

Fire involving large bailer 4 acres of stubble and 30 tonne baled straw 4 Hose Reel Jets Beaters and fogging system were used to extinguish the fire
