Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

RTC involving 2 private saloon cars.

Ludlow Bypass

At 16:16 on Friday, 29 June, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Craven Arms and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

Ludlow and Craven Arms dealing with a rigid load HGV milk tanker cab fire - 2 hose reel jets and thermal imaging camera have been used at the incident. A49 closed in both directions and Police are also in attendance.

Tractor Fire

Farley Much Wenlock

At 11:09 on Thursday, 31 May, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

Fire involving one tractor with trailer attached, carrying approximately 4 tonnes of straw. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Trailer with straw moved to nearby field for crews to damp down remainder of straw.
