At 19:00 on Saturday, 11 March, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Telford.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involves 2 private saloon vehicles in collision. One female casualty in the care of ambulance. Crews made both vehicles safe.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

1 pick up truck fully involved in fire which crews have extinguished using 2 hosereel jet. Hotspots have been monitored using thermal imaging camera and cooled with hosereel jet. Road closure in place due to fuel spillage across the road.

One hatchback car was fully involved in fire. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets.
