At 20:52 on Monday, 6 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

6 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform, the Incident Command Unit and the Welfare Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Church Stretton, Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Fire in roof space which has spread to further parts of the building

At 19:26 on Saturday, 20 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving one vehicle which came to rest on its side. Vehicle has been made safe by crews using small gear and checked the surrounding area using a thermal imaging camera. All casualties have been assessed by ambulance crews and the incident has been left with police and highways.

At 16:57 on Friday, 5 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shiftnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Environment agency equipment

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving two cars which were involved in a collision. No persons were trapped in this collision and all casualties in care of the ambulance service. Crews have made both vehicles safe and used environmental grab packs to clear a spillage in the roadway.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involved 2 private saloon vehicles and one articulated lorry in collision. Casualties left with West Midlands Ambulance service for assessment. Crews made all vehicles safe using small tools.
