At 08:07 on Saturday, 26 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Small in Church Stretton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Environment agency equipment

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

Diesel spillage from HGV due to damage to fuel tank. Crews filled hole to fuel tank and used sheets to soak up fuel spill. Police and Highways also in attendance.

At 18:50 on Thursday, 19 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Telford.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Land Ambulance Service , the Police and a utility company.

Reports of a 1 vehicle RTC come to rest on it's roof with persons reported trapped, upon arrival of crews both casualties had self extricated vehicle. Incident left with police and National Grid

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Cutters/Spreaders
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

One car fully involved in fire. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jets, holmatro cutting equipment and thermal imaging camera.

Reports of a milk tanker on its side crews used Environment Agency equipment to prevent milk entering the water way, incident left in care of Police, Recovery, Highways and the Environment Agency.

RTC involving 1 articulated lorry on its side with grain spilled on the carriageway in both directions. No persons trapped and Highways attending to clear carriageway.
