Gender Pay Gap Reporting

Our commitment
We are committed to transparency, fairness, and equality in pay. As part of this commitment, we publish our Gender Pay Gap information each year in line with statutory requirements.
What is the Gender Pay Gap?
The Gender Pay Gap shows the difference in average pay between male and female employees across the organisation.
It is different from equal pay, which relates to men and women being paid the same for doing the same or equivalent work.
Our reports
Our annual Gender Pay Gap reports are available below:
Each report includes:
Statement of accuracy
All Gender Pay Gap reports published by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service include a formal statement confirming that the information is accurate and has been calculated in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017.
This statement is signed by a senior officer and forms part of each annual report to ensure transparency and accountability.
Additional information
We recognise that the Gender Pay Gap reflects a range of factors, including workforce composition and representation across different roles. We are committed to understanding these factors and taking appropriate action to promote equality and inclusion within our workforce. View and compare statistics across all Fire and Rescue Services here: https://gender-pay-gap.service.gov.uk/
