Free Local Community Information Event – Shawbury

Event Description

The Preventative Services Team at the Community Council of Shropshire are organising Free Local Community Information Events.

The aim of these events is to provide a one stop shop for the local, vulnerable, and or senior residents in and around the surrounding area of the venue. Bringing together voluntary and statutory bodies that provide services to these communities. This enables the organisations and the attendees to engage and receive information about support available locally in an informal and accessible environment.

The events will take the form of en exhibition and talks/workshops from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Mercia Police and the Fall Prevention Service.

The attendees must book on to the event and free transport can be arranged.

Also light lunch will be offered to encourage attendees and make the event truly accessible to all.
