After a very successful first event at Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology in June, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service will be returning to the College to deliver a road safety education programme to the new intake of students. All students attending the programme fall into our most at risk group consisting of 16 to 25 year olds.
The day will consist of a practical demonstration and an opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day work the emergency services carry out in the community.
The aim of the session is to raise awareness of the consequences of drink and drug driving, speeding, seatbelts, passenger safety and pier pressures to a wide range of motorists including learner and newly passed drivers as well as those who are more experienced.
