At 17:31 on Thursday, 27 August, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Cleobury Mortimer.
6 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
Farm building, measuring approximately 15m x 10m, involved in fire. 1 main jet and 2 hose reel jets in use.

6 fire appliances including the Heavy Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Covering jet
- Hosereel jet
- Main jet
Barn containing 100 tonnes of straw and hay, 25 tonnes affected by fire. Hay has been moved to adjacent field with farm machinery.

At 15:24 on Wednesday, 8 July, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Bromfield near Ludlow .
9 fire appliances including the Fuel Bowser, the Heavy Pumping Unit, the Incident Command Unit, the Prime Mover and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer, Clun, Craven Arms, Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. Operations, Hazmat and Safety officers were in attendance.
Fire involving agricultural building approximately 30m x 10m. 50 tonnes of hay fully involved in fire and 10 tonnes of nitrogen fertiliser partially involved in fire. 2 jets, 3 hose reel jets, 6 breathing apparatus in use.

9 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit, the Rescue Tender and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Craven Arms and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Rakes, shovels, mathooks
- Small gear
Small fire involving brick built barn containing livestock. All livestock were safely removed by farmer prior to arrival of Fire Service. Four breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets, drag rakes and small gear used.

At 12:06 on Tuesday, 5 May, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Shrewsbury.
5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit, the Rescue Tender and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Fire involving four bay barn with asbestos roof, containing approximately 40 tonnes of straw and one trailer of approximately 5 tonnes of straw fully involved in fire. An adjacent cattle building of 40m x 20m also suffered slight fire damage. A number of livestock were led away from buildings by fire service animal rescue technicians and an onsite responsible person. 1 main jet and breathing apparatus in use to extinguish fire.
