Crews discovered a small fire after being called out to a lift rescue in Shrewsbury. Staff called the Fire Service after the lift failed to operate, assuming that there was someone stuck in it. This incident turned out to be a small fire in the motor room – there were no persons in the lift at the time and the fire was out on arrival. Advice and inspection only
