1 male out of water on fire service arrival. No action by fire service required.

At 05:23 on Thursday, 21 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire Persons Reported in Bridgnorth.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Much Wenlock and Telford Central. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

This incident involved decking and a front extension to the building. Crews extinguised the fire using 4 x breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 main jet. Assistance from Wyre Forest appliance from Hereford & Worcester Fire Service.

At 15:25 on Wednesday, 13 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Crewe.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Market Drayton, Telford and Whitchurch. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Main jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident involved an area of cut grass, hedgerow and small trees measuring approximately 100m x 50m. One appliance from Crewe was also in attendance at this incident.

House Fire

At 23:25 on Saturday, 9 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Telford.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton, Telford Central and Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving garage, motorcycle and property. Property was 100% damaged by fire, smoke and water, with 50% of the roof destroyed. Garage and Motorcycle were 50% involved in fire. Four fire appliances attended the incident plus officers. Fire crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 2 x 45 metre jet, 1 x 9 metre ladder misting lance and thermal image camera. Fire crews remain in attendance at this incident damping down and monitoring.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One male rescued from the river using throw lines and left in the care of the ambulance service

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Building fire, crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one main jet, one covering jet and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish.
