Resources for children and young people

Welcome to the children and young people's resource hub

A big part of the job of our Prevention team is to get out and about teaching young people about fire safety. The team use lots of engaging and varied resources along the way, so we have compiled them all in this handy hub so you too can use them at your leisure. Maybe you want to start a conversation with your child about fire safety, or just get them thinking about road safety? Whatever you need, we've got it here!

We also have a comprehensive youth program with firefighters and prevention advocates (schools) visiting schools around the county. Similarly, if you are concerned about a child setting a fire or someone who has a fascination with fire, please visit our I Learn (firesetters) page for more information.
