Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is committed to fair, open, and transparent procurement processes. We aim to provide all suppliers with equal access to opportunities to deliver goods, services, and works.

 

Where to find our opportunities

SFRS does not publish tender opportunities directly on this page.

All our tenders are managed and advertised through external procurement systems. To view and apply for opportunities, suppliers must register and monitor the following platforms:

  • Find a Tender – for higher value contracts – click here
  • Contracts Finder – for lower value opportunities – click here
  • Our e-tendering system – click here

 

Suppliers must register and access opportunities via the Sell2 (Bluelight Commercial eTendering) portal by clicking here.

 

Once registered, suppliers should log in to their account, go to the ‘Portals’ section, and select ‘Register with Organisation’ for ‘West Mercia Police’ to view and respond to relevant opportunities. Suppliers must register on these systems to access tender documents and submit bids.

 

How to do business with us

To work with SFRS:

  1. Register on the relevant procurement portal
  2. Monitor opportunities via Find a Tender or Contracts Finder
  3. Review tender documentation carefully
  4. Submit your bid electronically via the portal

All tenders are conducted in accordance with public sector procurement regulations and principles of transparency, fairness, and value for money.

Where appropriate, SFRS may procure goods and services via:

Supporting small and local suppliers

SFRS welcomes engagement from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and local suppliers and aims to ensure procurement processes are accessible and proportionate wherever possible.
